Here is a new style I learned how to do just recently even though I did try it a long time ago… These are twists! Simple as that… just twist.
For this look, I individually did twists along the top part of Havilah’s head and then pulled the rest into a ponytail/”bun”. To help the twists stay in well, I used Alaffia lotion in her hair before twisting. You can read a review I did on Alaffia here….
I really, really like this style and it lasted for nearly a week…
Thanks to Evan S. for the pictures

These are not the best of pictures…. but hopefully you can see the style. This is three French Braids on the top of the head with another French Braid at the back of the head leading up. All the French Braids meet into a pony puff on both sides. Ta-da! Isn’t that easy?
P.S. The front of her head it just a bit of a braided section that I did.

I realized recently that I have posted here in a long time! That doesn’t mean that I haven’t been doing any hair.
I’ve actually been doing it a lot and I always take pictures!! However I’ve been very busy with my college studies so this blog had to be put on the back burner to awhile.
Here’s a new style that I’ve done a few times to my sister. As you can see… it’s simply starting with a small pony, braiding two sections, banding those together, and then splitting that section and beginning the pattern all over again.
I really like this hair-do! It’s easy to do, doesn’t take a long time, and looks neat. Make sure though, that you have good rubber bands! You don’t want to have them break as you are braiding.
Happy Braiding!!
Hello!
I’m finally back with another hairstyle after a month of straight braids and then a month of fluffy hair.
This evening when I went to braid Havilah’s hair she requested that I copy her doll’s hair which was styled in a “Titanic Lady’s Style” by my one of my other sisters. So, that’s what I did!
I simply parted it into sections, put the sections into pony tails, twisted, and clipped! It’s probably not a style that will stay in for long, but it’s a fun style especially when we’re coming up to the 100th Anniversary of the voyage and sinking of the Titanic.
Happy Braiding & Beyond!!
